Currently, more than a third of the Amazon rainforest may have been degraded by human activity and drought, according to a study in the journal Science.
An entire vital ecosystem is in danger.
Taking long-term measures is great, but for the Amazon rainforest, the time to act is now!
We've been talking about this for years, everyone knows that the situation is critical, but ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has been done!
Only a handful of associations and citizens are fighting and the numerous states and governments are watching them.
So yes, it does not concern France, but it concerns our planet and until proven otherwise we all live there.
The disappearance of this forest has and will have consequences for the whole world. The forest itself covers nine countries.
