The petition
We are dying of heat under temperatures of 40 degrees, our environment is in terrible shape, and meanwhile the luxury industry is doing the unthinkable!
It is with total indignation that we denounce the organisation of the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2027 show by Pharrell Williams on June 24 at the Cité Universitaire de Paris. Despite all the alarms raised by environmental specialists about the severity of the climate crisis, this brand dared to design a giant cascading wave and, above all, install an outdoor air conditioning system solely for the comfort of its guests!
This is a shameful and disconnected insult to the reality we all face daily. While citizens are suffocating due to repeated heatwaves, a handful of privileged individuals indulge in the destructive whim of cooling the street. We refuse to let this total disregard for the ecological cause go unpunished.
We demand that LVMH be held accountable for this outrageous energy waste and that a strict measure permanently prohibits any form of outdoor air conditioning at such events. Sign and share this petition widely so that the preservation of our planet is never again sacrificed on the altar of entertainment and profit!
