These majestic animals didn’t sign up for this. They didn’t choose to risk broken necks, shattered legs, and fatal heart failure. They just ran because they were forced to.
And for what? A bet? A trophy? A corporate day out?
Somewhere along the way, our society was taught to accept this as "normal." It isn't. This is not sport—it’s animal cruelty disguised as entertainment. We cannot keep treating living, feeling creatures as disposable collateral damage for profit.
We call on the Australian Government and the Australian Racing Authority (ARA) to intervene immediately. We demand a full, independent review of racing safety, a ban on the whip, and strict legal accountability for owners and trainers when horses die.
