Nono La Grinta & the Flames 2026: A kitten is not a buzz accessory!

During the Flammes 2026 ceremony, broadcast live on France 4, rapper Nono La Grinta appeared on the red carpet with a kitten a few weeks old in his arms. This gesture raises a major ethical issue:

• A kitten has vital needs: maternal warmth, regular feeding, a stable and stress-free environment.
  
• The noises, lights, handling, and crowds of a media ceremony are toxic to its physical and mental health.
  
• Using a vulnerable animal as a buzz accessory sends a dangerous message to young fans: "An animal can be a toy, a communication tool, without regard for its well-being."
